If you'd told us mere months ago that we'd soon be giving a forever home to four raccoons, we would have told you that you had the wrong sanctuary. Yet as we head toward the end of 2024, Animals Wonders indeed has taken in and dedicated ourselves to caring for Ringo, Rolo, Rocky, and Roana. Though each of their journeys has been unique, these four special individuals have one big thing in common- they all came to Animal Wonders because they had nowhere else to go.
For the past few months we've navigated the challenges that come with unplanned rescues and rehabilitations, working with each raccoon on their specific needs and wants. And while we're thrilled to have gotten through the difficulties of infant raccoon care and quarantines, we're now looking to build a permanent expansion to their starting enclosures that will allow them to grow and thrive in the many years to come.
Raccoons are known for being rowdy, ring-tailed rascals, so why not get in on the fun? For this year's end-of-year giving campaign, we're rocking for raccoons- and we need everyone to join the band! From backup vocals to lead guitar, no part is too small in helping us build a wonderful new home for these special rockstars.
